Guidance for Content Creator Submissions

The idea is to develop imaginative and adaptive work with whoever you are living with, using the tools already at your disposal so as to adhere to the World Health Organization’s social distancing guidelines.   If you live alone, now’s the time to show off your camera (and sound) skills! If you do invite others to work on your project, please ensure that you prioritise their safety and your own, by wearing a mask at all times, frequent hand washing, proper ventilation in shared spaces, keeping a safe distance and sanitising all equipment and common surfaces. See resource here

The theme for this series will be Imagining Black Futures, and you may interpret this in any way you wish and in any genre you wish however, we will not accept documentary or nonfiction projects.

To apply please submit:

  • 1-minute Introduction Video featuring you - including your name, the country where you live, the country of your birth, or where you are from, what it means to you to be a Black woman content creator and why your proposal should be selected.
