About the Competition
Black Women Disrupt the Web is a web series competition that selects original proposals and accompanies Black women Writer-Directors through the process of creating a three episode web series. Semi-finalists will workshop their ideas and receive investment to complete and showcase their work. The finalist will receive a cash prize and additional support to navigate business and distribution aspects of the film/tv industry (including festivals). All applicants will be able to take advantage of masterclasses, information sessions and seminars about the creative and business aspects of the film and television industry.
