Tracey-Lee Rainers
Tracey-Lee is a story development practitioner and creative collaborator based in South Africa and working internationally.
She has worked as a head writer, storyliner, writer and documentary series director across genres and platforms. Career highlights include heading the story department on a slate of tv films for seasoned Producer, Bongiwe Selane (2012/12013); story editing Burnt Onions feature film ‘Seriously Single’ currently showing on Netflix ; story editing the multiple award winning short ‘Address Unknown’ (2020) and collaborating on a slate of 30 short films for the National Film and Video Foundation’s Flagship female filmmaker slate with Zinc Pictures in 2018/2019.
Tracey-Lee is a story development mentor for the Durban Film Mart’s Story Junction and also on her own story development hub ‘Trajectory Programme’ (NFVF). She currently serves as a story development consultant for SVODS and a story editor for film funds. Tracey-Lee is an accredited story editor and workshop trainer.
