Sally Fenaux Barleycorn
Sally Fenaux Barleycorn is a screenwriter, director, and diversity consultant with more than a decade of professional experience in the film industry.
She has worked her way up throughout the years in different roles and positions in all types of productions: from social media video content to independent films or Hollywood-style mega-productions.
As a writer-director, she has completed eight fiction short films, a web series episode, countless hours of video content and, she will be completing her first feature film in 2021.
As a screenwriter, in 2020 she joined the writer's room of a series in development for a major international platform. And as a consultant, she works for fiction projects, organisations, and institutions related to the audiovisual industry to promote practices towards the inclusion of more diverse talent.
She is the founder of New Voices New Futures, a collective of African descendant filmmakers based in Spain, and the co-founder of Black Seed Films, a filmmaking educational project targeted to the Afro people from anywhere in the world.
